You would be hard pressed to find a sweeter couple than Maddi and Jai, they are two of the nicest souls. I actually met Jai many years ago during my first teaching position – he was in my Year 4 Math class and I remember him being cheeky with a great sense of fun!
Fast forward through the proceeding years (and a change in career for me), and it was an absolute pleasure to cross paths with him again – this time as a fully grown adult and soon to be father. It actually kind of blew my mind! As a teacher, you sometimes wonder where your students might end up but it’s not all that often that you get to find out. It filled my heart to find him in a beautiful relationship with gorgeous Maddi, excited to embark on their next life-changing chapter.
Maddi’s maternity session was a lot of fun to shoot. At one point, I thought I was going to have a heart attack when she ‘heard something’ in the bushes. I’ve never seen a pregnant woman run so fast – and honestly, I wasn’t far behind her and yet I had no idea what we were running from, haha. Snake scares aside, we had an awesome time shooting this session.
