When you plan to go to a familiar location but arrive to find the areas you usually inhabit rendered unusable, a minor internal freakout usually ensues, and such was the case when Tash and I arrived on location for her session only to discover hundreds of newly planted trees and lots of hideously bright green plastic. With Tash and her young daughters having just travelled all the way from Colac for their session, the timing wasn’t ideal.
Luckily, this isn’t my first rodeo and after a quick recon of the surrounding area, I quickly discovered some fantastic hidden gems I’d never have noticed had I not been forced out of my comfort zone. With the overgrown greenery and pretty natives, I can actually see this location becoming a new favourite Spring hang!
It’s been exactly 12 months since their last session and the tiny one has done some pretty serious growing during that time. Bailee’s morphed from a sleepy babe into a toothy toddler and she’ll soon be giving her big sister, Layla, a run for her money!
