You never know how a family session is going to go, there are just so many variables – the weather, the light, the appropriateness of the chosen location, the temperament of your clients, their connection with each other… With the Skinners travelling all the way from the other side of Melbourne to Ocean Grove for their family session, and this being the first time we would meet, I had absolutely no idea what to expect.
What greeted me was a relaxed and loving family. The wind was crazy on the evening of their shoot and sand was blowing everywhere. It didn’t faze them. The two girls were happy to be hanging out with their big brother while their proud parents looked on. I didn’t have to encourage connection because it was already there. I loved hanging out with these guys.
