It took 18 months and many, many postponements – and right up until the day of the shoot, I don’t think any of us were entirely convinced that something wouldn’t happen to delay our plans again BUT after the longest wait, this beautiful family session finally happened and it was absolutely worth the wait.
In the past, I’d photographed Claire, Kev and their gorgeous kids in my Highton studio and the plan had been to capture newborn Fleur at the exact same stage. However, when a little pandemic came into play, ongoing restrictions and lockdowns forced a few changes. Which is how, a year and a half later, I found myself travelling to Torquay and paying a long-awaited visit to these guys on their stunning property. It might not have been the shoot they’d originally planned for but as good things often do, I think it worked out perfectly in the end.
